Quote
“I think every encounter I have with Jeff is significant, I’m dealing with a guy who is, in my opinion, a living legend and is probably one of the youngest living legends we have in our business. He’s somebody I completely looked up to when I was coming up through the ranks and I still do. We’re all still fans of the wrestling business, we’re the biggest fans out there. I’m a fan of Jeff Hardy. We’re very competitive. We like each other, so that’s always a challenge to wrestle each other when you’re getting along, but I always enjoy getting in the ring with Jeff.”
On changing back and forth from heel to face:
Quote
“There are things I wish could’ve been done a little bit differently, I probably wouldn’t have chosen to make the switch so many times. I think last year I turned four or five times, maybe. It was a little hard for me to wrap my head around, but things have changed.”
On wether he has any regrets from his TNA run:
Quote
“It’s the wrestling business, you never know what to expect, you never expect anything and I came to learn that pretty early on in my career. They say believe half of what you see and none of what you hear in the wrestling business and I think that’s pretty true. I’ve been pretty happy with the way things have gone in TNA. There’s always room for improvement and I always look back at every single match and I don’t recall a single one in the history of my career where I’ve sat back and said, ‘That match was great, I love that match.’ There’s always something I’m critical of and I think you’ll find that with most actors, athletes and most people who are just competitive in nature.” Continue reading »

On his match with Jeff Hardy at Sacrifice 2012:
“Every encounter that I have with Jeff is significant. I’m dealing with a guy who, in my opinion, is a living legend and probably one of the youngest living legends ever in our business. He is somebody I completely looked up to, when I was coming up through the ranks of the independent scene, and I still do. Ultimately, we’re all still fans of the wrestling business. We’re the biggest fans out there, and I’m a fan of Jeff Hardy. We’re very competitive. We like each other, so that’s always a challenge to wrestle each other, when you’re getting along with each other, but I always enjoy getting in the ring with Jeff.”
On Concussions in wrestling:
“All of us are trying to work smarter, safer. My concussions have been complete accidents. I don’t think I’ve lived the crazy lifestyle as far as my in-ring style goes. I’ve kind of always tried to keep it safe and simple but be as effective as possible.” Continue reading »

May 10th, 2012 – TNA House Show – New Orleans, LA: Jeff Hardy beat Mr. Anderson via pinfall
Bobby Roode comes out and talks about how great he is, and he says he took Ken Anderson, Jeff Hardy and RVD out last week. He says he amazes himself sometimes, and he has great news because he will be the longest reigning champion ever in two weeks. Roode says no else has come close to him, and if RVD thinks he can outsmart him or beat him he is wrong. He says no one is stopping his domination, but RVD runs down to the ring and hits him a few times before Roode takes off. RVD tells him to come get his title back, but Ken Anderson sneaks in and throws him back in the ring, then Jeff Hardy comes out to join them.
Fatal 4 Way
Ken Anderson vs Jeff Hardy vs RVD vs Bobby Roode
Everyone jumps Roode at the bell then Roode sends RVD and Anderson to the floor, and Hardy misses a Whisper In The Wind as we go to a break. Roode hits a suplex as we get back, but Hardy comes back with a leg drop for a two coumt, then he kicks RVD off the apron. Hardy kicks him into the barricade, then Anderson drops Roode with a neckbreaker, but RVD slides in and breaks up a pin attempt. RVD hits a split-legged moonsault for two, then he kicks Anderson and goes for Rolling Thunder. Roode rolls in and hits a spinebuster, then RVD hits a spinning kick in the corner. He tries to monkey flip Hardy, but Hardy shoves him back and hits Whisper In The Wind for another near fall.
RVD hits Hardy with a stepover kick and hits Rolling Thunder, but Roode throws him out of the ring and Hardy counters a fisherman’s suplex attempt. He hits Roode with a Twist of Fate then Anderson hits a Mic Check, and he tackles Hardy but they both fall out of the ring. RVD climbs back in and hits Roode with a Five Star Frog Splash for the win, then he pulls a ladder from under the ring and sits on it. Roode screams when he sees what the stipulation is, and Hardy and Anderson continue to argue until the pyro goes off. RVD looks shocked as Abyss appears at the top of the stage, and he says he has a message for his brother. Abyss warns his brother that he is getting too close, and tells him to step away from the flames before he gets burned.
Winner – RVD
Things break down and RVD and Roode fight in the corner while Hardy and Anderson go at it, then they fight until security pulls them apart. Hulk Hogan comes out and says he smells blood but he likes it, and if they want to fight they will have a great main event tonight. He says RVD needs to agree to the match, because he is the number one contender and everyone will get something if they win a fatal four way match. Hulk says Hardy or Anderson will take RVD’s spot if they win, or Roode can pick his opponent if he wins, but RVD also gets a bonus. He says if RVD wins he will not only get his title shot, but he also gets to make the match stipulation, then RVD agrees and Hulk thanks him.
