Bobby Roode comes out and talks about how great he is, and he says he took Ken Anderson, Jeff Hardy and RVD out last week. He says he amazes himself sometimes, and he has great news because he will be the longest reigning champion ever in two weeks. Roode says no else has come close to him, and if RVD thinks he can outsmart him or beat him he is wrong. He says no one is stopping his domination, but RVD runs down to the ring and hits him a few times before Roode takes off. RVD tells him to come get his title back, but Ken Anderson sneaks in and throws him back in the ring, then Jeff Hardy comes out to join them.

RVD climbs back in and hits Roode with a Five Star Frog Splash for the win, then he pulls a ladder from under the ring and sits on it. Roode screams when he sees what the stipulation is, and Hardy and Anderson continue to argue until the pyro goes off. RVD looks shocked as Abyss appears at the top of the stage, and he says he has a message for his brother. Abyss warns his brother that he is getting too close, and tells him to step away from the flames before he gets burned.

Winner – RVD
Things break down and RVD and Roode fight in the corner while Hardy and Anderson go at it, then they fight until security pulls them apart. Hulk Hogan comes out and says he smells blood but he likes it, and if they want to fight they will have a great main event tonight. He says RVD needs to agree to the match, because he is the number one contender and everyone will get something if they win a fatal four way match. Hulk says Hardy or Anderson will take RVD’s spot if they win, or Roode can pick his opponent if he wins, but RVD also gets a bonus. He says if RVD wins he will not only get his title shot, but he also gets to make the match stipulation, then RVD agrees and Hulk thanks him.
